Tino's Bio

Tino Konstin played with Westside Metros Magic/Internationals for seven years. The team won six- state championships and two regional championships. Before moving to Oregon, he played in South Texas with Houstonians FC, where in his final year the team won state cup. He played ODP for four years in Oregon and made the Regional Team his last year. Internationally, Coach Tino played second division for the prestigious Tahuichi Academy Club Callejas (A) in Bolivia. He also had short spells with Tigres (Segundo Division) and America (U20/Reserve). After two years abroad, he returned to the states and played one year at Sacramento State University until injuries forced him to stop playing. 

In Coach Tino’s first year of coaching he lead the 2010 Girls Thorns Pre-Academy team to a State Cup Championship Win and the following . He also assisted the 05G Thorns Academy team which progressed to the ECNL National Playoffs. In his second year, he coached the 2010 Girls Pre-Academy team again, and played up a year in State Cup bringing them all the way to the finals. He also assisted the 09G Thorns Academy Teams this year which made it to the ECNL National playoffs. He is a certified “D” License Coach working towards his “C”. Tino is also working on his final year of his Master’s in Education.
